Important Update for Fertility Patients — October 2026
Following IVF Australia’s announcement that its Canberra clinic will close in December 2026, I would like to reassure my patients that my independent medical practice will continue operating as normal.
I will continue providing comprehensive gynaecological, obstetric and fertility care from my consulting rooms in Deakin.
IVF Australia has confirmed that its final egg collections in Canberra will take place on 16 December 2026, with final embryo transfers on 21 December 2026.
From January 2027, I will be providing IVF services through Genea Canberra.
Patients currently undergoing treatment with IVF Australia should continue with their existing treatment arrangements unless advised otherwise by their treating team.
I understand that these changes may raise questions, particularly for patients planning fertility treatment in the coming months.
My priority is to ensure that patients receive accurate information, understand their available options and experience continuity of care wherever possible.
